Here is a Working method of How you can use your broadband Internet connection for your Mobile through a Laptop Made by Sony (VAIO). This method is confirmed and working smoothly for My Laptop and you can also try this easily.

Step 1

• Basically your VAIO laptop comes with Software Known as VAIO Control Center. You can use this software for easy configuration for the Wi-Fi Hotspot.

• Open the VAIO Control Center

• Under The Network section switch on the Network Sharing.

• Note: Before you Switch on Connect your Laptop using a Broadband LAN and turn on your Laptop Wi-Fi.

• You can Change your own Network name and password and click Apply.

Step 2

• Connect your Mobile to this Network and check whether you are getting internet for your Phone. Sometimes there may be error in connection due to the firewall settings. You have to change the firewall settings to Private to fix this issue.

• Under the tools tab Select Firewall and change the Public to Private as shown in the figure

If you are using Windows Firewall

• Check whether your created network is Active in the Private network section.

• If still your Hotspot doesn't work Disable your windows firewall and check.
