India Divided, Still Dividing- Religious Group Play in India

India has been divided in 1947 and India become a Secular country. In most countries, secularism means the non-recognition of every religion. In India, it means the recognition of every religion. Which means every religion is accepted in India. So what's the matter with the heading, India still dividing?

Which means every religion is accepted in India. So what's the matter with the heading, India still dividing? Even though we say India is my Country and All Indian are my Brothers and Sisters, everyone is not considering it in that sense.

According to the Preamble of Indian Constitution India is a Sovereign - Socialist - Secular - Democratic - Republic.

Why I am writing this here. There was some situations in my life where people divided into different groups and living their life without any interactions with people from other religions. That is why I said earlier even though we say India is one, Indians are not one.

The first incident was happened in Alappuzha, Kerala. Recently I visited one of my friend in Alappuzha. We reached there in the evening. So after having tea we visited beach near Alappuzha railway station. Even though it is night, there were a lot of people roaming there. Some boys were playing county cricket from the sand. While we enjoy their play we noticed nothing. We didn't even thought about their religion. But after the match was over everything changed. There were more people waiting to play. We thought why these children divided into groups and playing cricket. If they all get together they can play the real cricket rather than county cricket. On the discussion of these topic we noticed that all the children playing now are from the same religion. We tried to remember the religion of previous match. Yes it is from a different religion.

This is what happening in India now. After some days I happened to visit my own village ground where people play football. I was shocked and realized that the same is happening in my own village. The school ground is more than big enough to play two sevens match at a time. But two groups of people are playing there. One group people with same religion, and other group people with another religion. They were playing football by creating small posts using stones. I thought If they all play together they can use the goal post itself and play the real football with 11 more players in one team. But they were not.
The hope is not yet died, there were children playing football and cricket all together without looking into each others religion in this same country. Whenever they were also try to look into others religion...
