While creating a Blog post in blogger or any other website it is better idea to add an Image in the post. So that while people share that blog post it will include an Image snippet as shown in the figure below. But most of the bloggers are not aware of the images they include in the blog post. They blindly search in google images for an image with keywords and simply download one and upload to their blog post.
But sometimes it may not be included in the social media. So what will be the problem. To make a better visibility of your images in social media there is a minimum requirement.

Image Sizes: Use images that are at least 1200 x 630 pixels for the best display on high resolution devices. At the minimum, you should use images that are 600 x 315 pixels to display link page posts with larger images.

If you shared a video from YouTube in your blog post the social media will try to fetch images from those Video or the YouTube page. Sometimes images which are not a part of your blog content will display in your shared link in social medias like Facebook and Google Plus. To overcome this issue you can add an image in the post ( Mostly at first part of your Blog post) with a Minimum resolution of 600x315.
It is better to use a photo editing Software to make your Images for your blog posts like Adobe Photoshop or you will get free Versions of Photo editing software like PhotoScape.
