The Recent Update from Whats App in India Enables to Post Pictures and GIF files as Status Update, My Story Time line Feature From Hike
WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging App around the world. Before facebook acquiring WhatsApp we have to pay 1& per year as a subscription fee. In this time in India Hike was introduced without any charge and it even supports offline messages to Indian numbers. The feature of posting status as pictures, is introduced by Hike years ago. After that two months ago hike introduced upgraded version of it with the name "My Story". In my story we can post text status, Images, Videos etc as status messages. But the status will expire after 48 hours automatically.
In the same way WhatsApp now introduced new status tab in the new update in India.
Most of the people in India are using hike because of its privacy. We can hide our status/profile pictures to some people. Means only people added as friends can see our status and profile pictures.
We can even hide some chats from the main menu. Only we can access the chat with a pin code. Many users from India is installing hike mainly due to this features. Few of them are due to patriotism, because Hike is a Made in India chatting App unlike whatsApp.
