- The phone is still good and Smooth. There are some software bugs and hardware issues in Yutopia. The rear camera glass is not perfectly fixed, when the phone is hot the rear glass began to fall of. For other users the glass has already fallen
This is the first time I am owning a Flagship device and a Make in India Product. So I am reviewing this product based on my experience and activities on this product. Previously I was using a Mid Range Smartphone Sony Xperia M Dual. I bought Xperia M Dual on 2013 and was using for more than two years. So while I thought about upgrading my smartphone my first consideration was Sony Xperia. Then I searched for latest Xperia devices and found Xperia M5 Dual releasing soon. I was excited because of waterproof and Camera phone for in Mid Range Smartphone. But when it was released my whole excitement went down because of it's price RS 37990. Xperia smartphones are good but I am not mad enough to buy a Mid range smartphone for this price. So waited an appropriate smartphone to launch in India for about 25K. My preferences were the device should be compact in hand, Excellent camera which can record at least 720p Slomo Videos at 120fps, 3GB Ram, 16GB Rom, Dual Sim Capable, Micro SD Slot. And finally Yu Yutopia launched at teh price tag of 24999 INR which is about 375$. I pre-booked the item. Many friends asked me why you booked a smartphone for 25000 which is a Indian brand. This is the main drawback of Indian people they only trust on other brands which costs double and other Chinese brands. I trusted Yu because some of my friends have Yureka and Yureka Plus. Their experience were good with the brand Yu. So lets see the detailed review of Yu yutopia below
Box And Contents
The packing of yutopia was simple but Different but I liked it. In the box we will see a Handset, A Screen Guard, Protecting cover, Headset from house of Marley and Sim card tray ejector.
But Amazon Packing was not good. They just sent me the Yutopia in a cardboard box. This may be due to they are shipping their Items through Amazon Courier Service with care.
Feel And Look
As I previously said I only prefer compact device and seriously neglecting all 5.5 inch screen device especially oneplus 2. Even though Yutopia is 5.2 inch device its screen to body ratio is 70 so it perfectly fit on my hand. All body parts are made of metal. But it doesn't look like a premium phone because of its grey color. If they released a Golden color variant it will be a good move.
Display Quality
The display resolution is WQHD 2K Sharp Display with Corning Concore Glass with 565 ppi. It looks good. But I was unable to experience pure white on display. Otherwise this was Good. Even it is available at 1080p I will by it because I don't need 2K display and as resolution increases battery life will decrease.
Performance
I didn't find any lags on its Snapdragon 810 Processor. I am not using smartphone to play games. It feels little heat while I tested Yutopia on Antutu Benchmark in performance mode When I first switched to performance mode from balanced mode the benchmark score was 52000. After testing it again I got a Maximum of 64444 which is just below LG G4
Camera
Camera is one of the best in Yu Yutopia. It comes with a 21 MP Sony IMX230 Image sensor. Since the sensor is from Sony it captures High details. Camera Sample are given below click on the pictures to Magnify.

4K Video Sample
There are some issues present in Yu Yutopia fingerprint sensor. It fails to recognize sometimes. But After properly setting the fingerprint on sensor. We can set up to five fingerprints.But there is some issue or bug present in Yu Yutopia that if you set five fingerprints the device will unlock without any passwords. It will automatically unlock after some times. But this is not present if you didn't set all the five fingerprints. Watch the video below
Yutopia Comes with 3000 mAh battery with Quick charge 2.0. Yu claims that it will charge up to 60% in just 30 minutes. But in practical case it is not possible. To fully charge the phone in balanced mode it will take around 1.30 hrs. The phone battery will lasts more than 24 hrs if you are moderate user who occasionally use internet.
Conclusion
In my opinion it is a perfect phone for me as I am not behind a smartphone which costs more than 30000 Rupees. May be some others will not like this phone like fanboys of other smartphone brands. Since I only need a smartphone for my needs it is the best I can buy at this price.
