I am not using an expensive device to test this, because I don't have that much of money to buy any flagship device at it's launch. I am using two and half year old Xperia M Dual (C2004) to test this battery life test both in stamina mode and Doze mode. Sony stopped it's official software updates for Xperia M at 4.3 Jelly Bean. But we are little bit lucky because I tried both Kitkat, Lollipop, Marshmallow in my device - Thanks to PickanCM a dveloper in XDA who developed all the above mentioned Cyanogen ROM for free in XDA Forum.

Stamina Mode : In Sony's Stamina Mode the device lasts more than Two days in Moderate usage. Most of the time it was in Standby Mode. Still I got 2 day battery life with about 3 and half hours of screen on time. Note that my device is two and half year old one and it is still my primary phone, and since it has two sim slots there is no need for a secondary phone yet.
Most of the time internet is accessed through Wi-Fi. The main problem with Xperia M is it's camera. The Redmi 2 is have better camera than Xperia M Dual. Planning to upgrade to new phone But Sony's pricing strategy is India is making me to stick with Xperia M.
Google Doze Mode : To my surprise Google Doze mode do better job in my Xperia Device than the previous OS Lollipop. But not that much of great as Sony Stamina Mode. It lasts at least one day in moderate usage while most of the time kept it in Standby mode.
Conclusion
Sony's Stamina Mod is anyway better than Google Doze mode. Even latest Sony's Flagship Xperia Z5 owners says that Stamina Mode is better in Xperia Z5. Sony removed Stamina Mode from Marshmallow update delivered to Xperia Z5. But don't worry Stamina Mode is returning to Sony devices in near future since most of the customer wants it back.
