But for complex geometry it is very difficult draw the design in ANSYS. So how the model is analyzed for stress and thermal activities?
So there is a in built tool available for ANSYS software to import 3D models from various designing software like Creo Parametric, CATIA, Solid Works etc. Here we are discussing about How To Import Parts designed in Creo parametric 3.0 to ANSYS software without losing any data.

1. After creating a 3D Model in Creo parametric Save the file as usual.
2. After Saving File Go to file > save As > then change the type to IGES file extension, it is a universal format and it will support all designing software
3. Now Open ANSYS Software
4. Then Click on File > Import > IGES File > and browse for your file > and import it
5. The 3D Model will be imported successfully into ANSYS without any Error

File > import >IGES

Tick all and click OK

Browse for Your IGES model

Select IGES File saved through Creo parametric

Click OK
