Google yesterday revealed all the specification, pricing and availability of Google flagship smartphones named Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL. After the pricing revealed tech world is blaming Google for the higher price tag offered for Pixel smartphones. The pricing of Pixel smartphones starts at 649$ in US and go up to 1100$ worldwide especially in India. In India the pricing starts at INR 57000 which is more than 800$ in current exchange rate. That is more than 150$ difference from US market. So we can call it iPixel or iDroid (Android) in terms of pricing. Because in terms of huge prising Apple iphone is in first, then Sony smartphones. Now Google overtakes Sony and is in second place.

Whether Google Pixel Worth The Pricing

Before that we should check what are features and services provided with Google Pixel and Pixel XL Smartphones. Both are having same hardware SD 821 Processor, 4GB Ram , 32 GB internal space, and 12 MP Sony IMX378 Sensor which gives the Pixel phones a huge DxO score of 89, which is the highest score given to a smartphone till date. ( You should consider that the same sensor was using in Xiaomi Mi5S and Mi5S Plus smartphone and is available for 300$ in china). You can check some camera samples of Google pixel we posted earlier.

• It also offers Free Unlimted Google Drive storage for your all photos and videos taken using Pixel phone in Full Resolution, and whole 4K videos shot using Google Pixel can be saved for Free (Really amazing). But Google didn't gave any information regarding how long the space is for Free. Google is trying to push cloud storage among it's users. That is why Google not provided a Micro SD card slot for the device. if the unlimited space provided by Google is for life time, they cannot give it for Free. So Google added extra dollars into the Pixel phones pricing. If Google is ready to sell the phone without this offer you may get at least 100$ discount on the phone. 
• Also some careers are offering Free Google play credits worth 50$ and 100$. This amount is also included in the Pricing

So your extra money is not going anywhere. it is used for the cloud storage and Google Play credits. But it may be an issue for you if you are not saving your photos and videos in the Google cloud storage and don't want to purchase applications or movies from Google play Store. In country like India most of the people will not buy Applications from play store or buy movies from play store. So this offer will not be useful for you.
It means the Google pricing is Good for the products and services it offer, but Google is forcing users to use there cloud services.
